What Is Ceramic Coating?

Ceramic coating is an extremely thin nano-coating which is applied to surfaces that it then bonds to. This process is the new industry standard for vehicle protection!

Enjoy a paint surface that is ultra slick, with the appearance of a vehicle that is freshly waxed, except with a glossy appearance which can lasts for years.

Vehicles with PPF or Vinyl Wraps can also be over-coated with a ceramic coating for the most effective paint shield possible.

Our Ceramic Coating Installation Process

Ceramic coating a car is a multi-step process that requires proper preparation, application, and curing to ensure durability and effectiveness.

1. Preparation Stage

Proper preparation is crucial for the ceramic coating to bond effectively.

Wash the Car
(Decontamination Wash)

  • Use a PH-neutral car shampoo to thoroughly wash the car.
  • Use the two-bucket method to minimize the risk of scratches.
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber towel.

Remove Surface Contaminants
(Clay Bar Treatment)

  • Use a clay bar and lubricant to remove embedded contaminants like tar, sap, and iron deposits.
  • This ensures a smooth surface for better bonding.

Paint Correction
(Polishing/Compounding - Recommended)

  • If the car has swirl marks, scratches, or oxidation, use a dual-action polisher with a compound or polish.
  • This step ensures a flawless finish before applying the ceramic coating.

Panel Wipe
(Degreasing with IPA Solution)

  • Wipe the entire car down with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and a microfiber towel to remove any remaining oils or residues.
  • This ensures a clean surface for maximum adhesion.

2. Application Stage

Applying the ceramic coating requires precision and patience.

Right Environment

  • Apply the coating in a dust-free, well-ventilated garage with moderate temperatures.

Apply the Ceramic Coating

  • The ceramic coating is applied to the entire vehicle.

3. Curing Stage

Proper curing ensures the coating reaches its full hardness and protection.

Ensuring The Optimal Results

  • Avoid water exposure for 24-48 hours.
  • Do not wash the car for 7 days.
  • If possible, let the car cure indoors for up to 2 weeks before exposing it to harsh conditions.

4. Maintenance & Care

Our tips for maintaining your ceramic coated vehicle to ensure maximum protection.

Ceramic Coating Care Tips

  • Use PH-neutral shampoos for washing.
  • Avoid automatic car washes with brushes.
  • Apply a ceramic booster or topper every few months for extended durability.

Depending on the product and maintenance, it can last anywhere from 1 to 5+ years.

Protection against UV rays, oxidation, chemical stains, minor scratches, and bird droppings. It also makes cleaning easier due to its hydrophobic properties.

It adds a protective layer, but it won’t stop major scratches or rock chips. It’s more effective at resisting light scratches and swirl marks.

Yes, it lasts much longer and provides superior protection. Wax needs frequent reapplication, while ceramic coatings can last years with proper care.
