Waxoyl UnderCoating

Long-Lasting Protection Against Rust & Corrosion

Why Choose Waxoyl Rustproofing?

Other rustproofing products simply hide rust. They dry, crack, and eventually flake off, exposing rust problems. Waxoyl’s advanced chemistry forms a tough, flexible barrier that kills existing surface rust, never fully dries, and sticks permanently. Requires minimal surface preparation for a lifetime of protection.

Waxoyl recommends annual inspections and touch-ups as necessary to ensure complete coverage. Like any coating, Waxoyl will wear under certain driving conditions.

Waxoyl Versus The Competition

See just how much better Waxoyl compares to the other competitors on the market.

Waxoyl's 2-Part Corrosion Prevention System

Damage from corrosion can reduce your vehicle’s value by more than half. Waxoyl Professional offers 360º of protection.

Waxoyl 120-4 For Cavity Protection

Because many corrosion problems begin inside untreated cavities where moisture lurks, Waxoyl Professional 120-4 fogs & penetrates the narrowest spaces, ensuring maximum protection. Utilizes existing drains, no drilling required.

Hardwax For Underbody Protection

A tough, long lasting, wax-based compound that contains powerful corrosion fighting chemicals and forms a flexible barrier to keep elements out. Unlike other undercoating products, Waxoyl will never trap moisture. Protects for the life of the vehicle.

Step 1: Pre-Inspection Consultation

We begin with our Pre-Inspection consult with the customer. This addresses any concerns and allows the customer to inspect below their car prior to install. We would explain the process showing our method of installation.

Photos and Videos progress reports are sent to the customer at the end of Day 1

Step 2: Panel and Shield Removal

To ensure thorough coverage and maximum rust protection, our technicians carefully remove key components that may block access to rust-prone areas. This step allows for deep cleaning and precise application of Waxoyl rustproofing to all critical surfaces.

We remove lower panels, wheel liners and spare tires for easier access to the lower body for cleaning.

Step 3: Surface Preperation

Using cleaning agents and degreasers we under wash the vehicle thoroughly to remove any surface oils and debris.

*If the customer has opted in for rust removal, we would use multiple tools such as grinders de scalers and rust inhibitors to remove surface layer rust prior to installation. Vehicle is then re washed

The vehicle is then blown out with high pressure air to dry inside the hollow cross member chassis hollow cavities. Commercial dryers are then left to dry the remaining surfaces.

Step 4: Waxoyl 120 -4 Cavity Installation

While lower body is drying we begin to apply Waxoyl’s 120-4 Professional grade cavity wax to the Hood, Front fenders, Doors, Rear quarter panels (Inside and out) and Trunk.

We then proceed to the lower body starting with the lower door sills or Rocker panels followed by the under body cross member chassis.

Step 5: Waxoyl Hardwax Installation

We apply Waxoyl Hardwax to the entire underbody, creating a durable, moisture-resistant barrier against rust and corrosion. Key components like brake rotors, the drive shaft, exhaust, and heat sinks are carefully avoided to ensure proper function.

Once dry, it forms a matte black finish, providing long-lasting protection from road salt, moisture, and debris.

Step 6: Curing Process

After application, the vehicle is left to cure overnight, allowing Waxoyl to fully bond and create a strong protective barrier.

Once cured, our technicians reinstall underbody panels, wheel liners, and the spare tire, ensuring everything is securely in place before returning the vehicle.

Step 7: Post-Wash

To ensure a pristine finish, we hand wash the vehicle, removing any possible overspray and residue from the rustproofing process.

This final touch ensures your car is clean and ready for pickup, delivering both protection and a showroom-worthy appearance.

What Is "Unibody" Vs "Body On Frame"?

Find out which one your vehicle is for online booking.

Unibody Vehicles

A unibody vehicle refers to an automotive design where the body and frame of the vehicle are a single, unified structure. Unlike traditional vehicles that have a separate body mounted on a rigid frame (like a truck), unibody cars integrate their body and frame into one piece. It’s common in most modern passenger cars, including sedans, hatchbacks, and crossovers.

Small / Medium

Most Passenger Sedans & Small SUV’s
(Ex: VW Jetta, Honda CRV)

Large / X-Large

Most 7 Seater Vans, SUV’s
(Ex: Ford Explorer, Toyota Highlander, Dodge Caravan)

Body On Frame Vehicles

Body on frame construction is an automotive design where the vehicle’s body is built separately from its frame or chassis. In this traditional method, the body, which includes the passenger and cargo areas, is mounted on a strong, rigid frame that supports the engine, transmission, and suspension. This design is often used in trucks, SUVs, and some large vehicles

Small

Most 1/4 Ton Trucks
(Ex: Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado)

Medium / Large

Most 1/2 Ton & 3/4 Ton Trucks
(Ex: Ford F-150, 250, 350, Cadillac Escalade)

Frequently Asked Questions

If your question isn’t listed below, please feel free to contact us.

Wax-based undercoating is a protective layer applied to the underside of vehicles to prevent rust and corrosion. It forms a flexible, water-repellent barrier that seals out moisture, salt, and road debris.

The wax seeps into cracks, seams, and crevices, creating a moisture-resistant layer. It stays soft and pliable, allowing it to self-heal small abrasions over time.

It offers excellent corrosion protection, especially in harsh climates with heavy road salt use. Wax-based coatings are also easy to apply and provide long-lasting coverage.

Waxoyl can last 6-10 Years.

10 years conditional of annual inspections

Waxoyl is safe for seals, plastics, wiring, or rubber and adds sound deadening to your vehicle as well.

Yes, Waxoyl will not affect electrical components, We do not spray HV connectors or the orange coverings.

It can slow down rust progression but works best as a preventive measure. Applying it over existing rust without proper treatment may trap moisture and worsen the problem.

We will inspect the undercarriage annually for damage or wear and reapply the coating as needed according to your warranty coverage at no charge.

We avoid spraying it on exhaust components, brakes, or suspension joints, as it can create a burning smell or affect performance.
